Ferdinand Emmanuel Edralin Marcos (September 11, 1917 – September 28, 1989) as he personally preferred to be seen and envisioned himself. This portrait, by Manansala, was given by his aide-de-camp Hans Menzi and was used as Marcos’ official portrait in the Palace. It was Marcos’ favorite portrait of himself. It disappeared during the Edsa Revolution but is said to have recently come back into the possession of the family.
